Google village sparks new downtown San Jose property buying




Google is buying even more in Downtown San Jose, a mobile home park site in Sunnyvale got approval to build 108 units, and Adobe is planning to bring 3,000 more workers into San Jose within 6 months. All this and more in this month's edition of Nathan's Newsletter.

Google village sparks new downtown San Jose property buying

Google's development partner for a vast tech campus in downtown San Jose has snapped up a parcel for the project that's next to actively used train tracks, in a deal that underscores the transit-oriented nature of the proposed Google village.

The most recent purchase also marks a resumption of active property buying by Google development colleague Trammell Crow in downtown San Jose, in the vicinity of SAP Center and the Diridon train station.

Former Sunnyvale mobile home park to become 108-unit housing project

The former Nick's Trailer Court in Sunnyvale will be transformed into a 108-unit housing complex with 22 units reserved for low-income families.
