The chart below shows that cities east of highway 880 are still experiencing a very high demand for housing.

For Comparison: For the 3rd month in a row new listings outpaced sales for properties located WEST of 880, and this month it was by a fairly large margin. This change could possibly be seasonal, so we will need to wait until the June/July numbers come out to know for sure. It could also be the start of a leveling off period.
