A wet April is going to keep things busy through the summer.
Based on what happened in March, the market is definitely following the forecast. Check out the updated infographic.

Pride of ownership can be seen in every detail of this large and modern home. Kitchen remodeled in 2013 with custom cabinets, granite counters and stainless steel finishes, giving it an ultra fresh look. Both bathrooms remodeled in 2016 and few expenses were spared. The three bedrooms are filled with an abundance of natural light, and in the summer the central air conditioning will keep you cool if you don't feel like swimming in the community pool. Conveniently located in the highly sought after Plaza del Rey park, minutes from Mountain View either by car, light rail, highways 237, 101 or 85. Let me know if you or someone you know would like a private showing. Home cannot be used as a rental property and the space rent is $1,250 in addition to the mortgage payment. No HOA payment.
Gorgeous 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom 1,885 sqft home in a brand new community. I helped the buyer navigate the extremely complicated purchase contract and advised her as to what was safe and not safe.
BAY AREA MARKET RECAP AND FORECAST
Huge increases in value happened across the board for all homes in the Bay Area. Even very large homes, those around 3,000+ square feet, jumped almost 5% in value during the month of March! Most homes are selling with multiple offers making it very tough for buyers, and there is no end to this buying trend in sight. I suspect things might level off in June or July, but it is too early to tell. Let me know if you need any advice or want to talk about a specific situation.
Google is moving past the planning stage for its futuristic new campus after receiving key approvals from the Mountain View City Council on Tuesday.
The project, dubbed the Charleston East campus, is the first major real estate project that Google will build from the ground up. At its heart is a planned 595,000-square-foot, two-story office building shaped to resemble a puffy white cloud, with solar panels on the roof. The building is intended to hold up to 2,700 workers and is expected to be completed in late 2019.
